In today's video I will be covering a lesser known debt payoff strategy known as the debt tsunami. In this video I will be going over what the strategy is as well as the advantages and disadvantages of using it as your primary debt payoff strategy. The debt tsunami method differs from the debt snowball and debt avalanche methods by having you order your debt from highest emotional impact to lowest emotional impact (regardless of the debt's balance or interest rate) and paying them off in that order. I did not come up with this strategy, I just found it on a blog post and thought it was a cool concept and wanted to share it with you.
